Our rooms
Ingmarsö Bed & Breakfast has two buildings with a total of six rooms. Book a double room, family room, or why not treat yourself to a little extra by booking one of our Superiour double rooms. Breakfast, linens, and final cleaning are included in all room rates. In both our houses, there is a separate shower and toilet shared with other guests in the house.
The Yellow House
A house from the 1920s. This is where August was supposed to move in with his fiancée. The house boasted splendid tiled stoves, fine carpentry, and a wonderful glass veranda overlooking the estate. But something went wrong. Instead, his sister Viktoria moved in. The siblings lived here for the rest of their lives
Ingmarsö
A double room with a king-size bed and space for an extra bed if needed. One of the most popular rooms at Ingmarsö B&B. A large window offers views of the old farm buildings, reminiscent of Bullerbyn (a reference to a village in Astrid Lindgren's books). A fireplace for chilly winter nights and a private veranda for sunbathing or enjoying a glass of wine. The color tone is green, reflecting the cultivated landscape outside.
Paradiset
A large double room with a king-size bed and space for an extra bed if needed. The old living room has now been transformed into a suite with its own glass veranda for enjoying breakfast or relaxing and reading during lazy afternoons. A splendid corner tile stove stands tall in one corner. The color tone is a warm yellow, reminiscent of the buttercups and tansy found in the fields around the farm or on the seaside beaches.
Röda huset
At Norrgården, it is known that the land has been cultivated since the 1600s. Parts of the red house date back to 1830, but elements like the beautiful glass veranda on the upper floor were added later. That it is an old house with a bake oven and a real gem of a tiled stove is certain. In the country kitchen where breakfast is served, one can clearly hear the beating wings of history.
Skäret
Two double rooms that are side by side on the upper floor. One with a kingsize bed and one with two single beds. The white wooden paneling in the walls and ceiling provides a lovely light. The floor and the joists that lean both here and there are original. And who dares to enter the small attic? Outside is the glass veranda where you can spend the afternoons playing games or reading. The color tone is sober white.
Seglarstugan
Seglarstugan is located 200 meters from Norrgården. Here lived the shipbuilders who built boats in the houses to the east of the cottage.
